FOR THE SUN HAT
For 54" wide heavier Home Dec fabric - 1 1/8 yards for the Exterior
- 3/8 yard for the Lining
- 3/4 yard of 60" wide - 10 oz. cotton canvas or Duck Cloth for the interfacing
OR
For 44" wide light to mid-weight fabric - 1 1/4 yards for the Exterior
- 3/8 yard for the Lining
- 1 1/8 yards of 60" wide - 10 oz. cotton canvas or Duck Cloth for the interfacing
FOR THE SKULL CAP
For 44 wide light to mid-weight fabric
- 3/8 yard for the Exterior
- 3/4 yard for the Reversible side and Bias binding
- 3/4 yard of round cord elastic. (You can purchase this in a precut package or by the yard.)
- 1 spool of coordinating all-purpose thread
